New Orleans – June 2010

Our home for a week
The Bienville House -- a beautiful little boutique hotel on Decatur Street

View of the pool from our hotel balcony.
There isn't a fog, it's the camera lense fogging up from the humidity. New Orleans is beautiful, but that humidity....

Wonderful used bookstore down the street from our hotel.
Once again, Tyler buys more books than will fit in his suitcase.

The green line streetcar.
We took this to the Garden District to see the great New Orleans mansions

Inside the streetcar.
The seat backs slide so that when the car goes in the opposite direction, you're always facing forward

Erika receiving her pre-wedding manicure and pedicure

Bourbon Street. Where every night is a party.

Incredible Jazz Pub

Fritzel's European Jazz Pub.The first place in the United States to
serve Jägermeister

Marie LaVeau, the queen of VooDoo
Had my Tarot Cards read. Should be a good year.
